5 steps to Change Your Outlook

Did you wake up today? Well, there's a start! Be thankful that every day you have the chance to start over. Use this time wisely. Forget about mistakes and problems of yesterday. This is a brand new day!

  1. "Get outside. Breath in that fresh air. Take a walk around your neighborhood. Concentrate on really paying attention to what you see. Check your pulse. If you have a pulse then you have a purpose.

  2. Call your best friend, the one who knows everything about you and loves you the same! Make plans to do something with him/her within the next 2 weeks. Mark it in your calendar! This is your time!

  3. Volunteer at a soup kitchen or a neighborhood outreach center. This step is extremely important. Doing selfless acts of kindness inspires you to see how lucky you are. Put yourself in the shoes of those who you serve. The feeling you get from helping others is irreplaceable.

  4. Recognize your nightly routine. Do you have access to clean water..a safe place to eat and sleep? More than 1.3 billion people worldwide live in extreme poverty-off less than $1.25/day.
